I've been playing bass guitar since the 7th grade in 1976. I began on the upright bass and quickly switched to electric. In High School I performed with the jazz band. I also joined a local band called Renegade at the time.  After that I began to play in several Christian bands and eventually ended up playing in the worship band at Journey of Faith for about 15 years.

Throughout this time I started to dabble in song writing. Not an easy task on the bass, but so began my journey of musical theory. It started with a Casio keyboard and a four track cassette recorder setup in my son's bedroom. This became ATB Studios (Aaron Tokich's Bedroom).

As I started to write music for my lyrics and began recording I now had to learn how to mix so my OJT kept coming. Finally I discovered Band In A Box and my prayers were answered to finally create descent demos.
